THE QUILT I.D. BOOK is a book that every quilter would love to have in her personal library.There are so many quilting patterns and many of them have several names that were used to describe them. This guide can help with quilt identification and it also presents 4,000 patterns for quilters to use.

The book was published in 1986 and I can't even begin to think of the hours of research that went into identifying the patterns and combing them with the various names they were given over several hundred years of quilting. Judy Rehmel, the author, is from Indiana and I'm assuming that her research has been mostly American quilting names.
