AnglePlay Blocks: Simple Half-Rectangle Triangles, 84 No-Math Quilt Blocks, Easy-To-Follow Charts [Illustrated] [Paperback] Review

Since there is no book description to-date, I guess I'll be the one to tell you: This book is a companion to the template set by the same name. The template set is NOT included but can be ordered (from the author) for $60, plus another $20 if you want a holder for them. The book relies on your buying the templates. It gives tracings of each in the back, so you could make your own, but as most quilters know, there is a big difference between homemade sheet-plastic templates and laser-cut plexi-templates, both in accuracy and safety. Just be aware: an additional purchase is almost certainly required with this book!! I wish they'd said that up front, and I'd have passed on this one.

Stunning AnglePlay(tm) Quilts: 6 Projects 42 Exciting Blocks Easy, No-Math Piecing [Paperback] Review

Gorgeous looking quilts! Great eye candy! I have read briefly through this book and WOW, so many possiblities. Margaret Miller has the various templates printed on pages in this book and you need to use them to make these stunning quilts. You can also order her plastic templates through her website, which it would be easier to make these quilts using plastic templates. I have not attempted to make a quilt yet, so I can't tell you how easy or difficult it might be. I do own other books written by Margaret Miller and I do know that as an author and quilter she is very good at explaining how to make quilts.
