Hanky-Panky Crazy Quilts [Paperback] Review

This is a great book for quilting and especially for a type of quilting that is not as popular as piecing and applique.I saw the author, Cindy Brick, on HGTV's Simply Quilts! with the ever sparkling Alex Anderson. Cindy showed how to make the cutest crazy hanky quilt so I just had to try it, even though I had recorded the show. I love to buy books on whatever hobby I have (knitting, crochetting, and quilting), and just good-old fiction. This is a great book. I'm sorry to say that I don't have any ancestors that had or saved handerchiefs, but had the thought to look on e-Bay! What do you know?!? There are pages and pages of handkerchiefs for sale of all types and all price ranges, mostly reasonable. This made this book invaluable to me. Hope that the previous reviewer sees this and therefore can get herself more handkerchiefs. There are plenty for all and Cindy Brick probably has some ideas on finding them also. But as she says on the show, "Just don't cut up the valuable historical ones." Great book and author.
