Since I have sewed my own clothes, I have always liked the "pattern package" where all the pieces for the item were together in one envelope that was easy to file.Quilting patterns are now coming in the same type of package.These are even better since it is made of slick, light weight cardboard and it is resealable.WONDERFUL!

Sweet Pea Manor" is a 46 ½" x 51" quilt.It could be of a house on your block or even of your own house.It has several different quilt blocks such as baskets, stars, stripes and pinwheels.It also has appliqué to do.The "leafy tree", border and flower swag all use the fusible method.

The package contains two paper sheets; one with the templates needed and the end of the instructions and one with the beginning of the instructions.These instructions have a full color photo of the finished quilt and lots of graphics to go along with the written words.The best part of this sheet is that you can fold it and pin it to a bulletin board or clip to a file cabinet with magnetic clips!Either way, you never bury it under the fabric or cutting mat.

All the necessary yardage, types of fabric and other materials are printed on the back of the envelope making it easy to shop for what you need to complete the quilt whether that be in your own stash or at the fabric store.With this pattern, you will learn to make several types of blocks and create a wonderful quilt to wrap up in on a cool night.
