Although I have more or less retired from quilting and even sold off many of my materials, supplies and books, I had to buy this book.The lively colors of the woven fabrics put together by Priscilla Bianchi in her quilts made this book a must for me.My two weeks spent on those twisted roads visiting villages in the highlands of Guatemala years ago were brought back to me.
I may even be inspired to create a few more quilts to try to capture that spirit of those creative Mayan weavers. The book is saturated with color and more color. Priscilla has blended them together with other bright fabrics in very tempting ways.
