I bought this book because I saw it online and reviewed some of the pages beforehand.One particular quilt in the book caught my eye...I had the "perfect" fabrics in mind for it.The title of the quilt I made was "Star Bright" on page 24.A traditional looking "cockeyed" star.I used Bali/batik fabrics with a dark background fabric.I think mine looks better than the one in the book!This was an inspirational book--sparked my creativity and gave me the chance to use fabrics I wouldn't normally use.Directions were well written (unlike some quilt books!)The quilt I made was only my second one ever!If you have never made an "ART" quilt and would like to make something really cool, fresh, and hip...Get this book.
