Although traditional, these quilts display lots of new twists, such as the "Watermelon Picnic" quilt, which uses log cabin blocks to depict watermelon slices. The photography is superb, the instructions meticulous, and patterns include table runners, pillows, and tree decorations as well as quilts. Both appliqué and pieced techniques are featured.
